Fare Collection Procedures:

Passengers and vehicle traffic traveling from Blacks Harbour to Grand Manan Island will be handled on a first-come first-served basis and will not be charged a fare.

Passengers and vehicle traffic traveling from Grand Manan Island to Blacks Harbour will be handled through the Grand Manan Terminal and must purchase the appropriate round trip ticket at the Ticket Office, prior to embarkation.

Note:

Advance tickets are only available for departures from Grand Manan Island the day before you plan to sail @ (506) 662-3724 Ext. 1

The Ferry can only be booked upon return to the mainland. Reservations are not accepted for departures to the Island.

If you do not have a car you can use public transportation by following these instruction.

The best way to get to Grand Manan by public transportation is to go to Saint John then choose one of the following :

1 Take a taxi from Saint John to ferry station or from Pennfield Flats to the ferry terminal in Blacks Harbour

2 By bus from Saint John to Pennfield and take a taxi from Pennfield to the ferry station in blacks harbour

Saint John to Pennfield

Leaves Saint John each day at 2:20 PM

Arrives in Pennfield at 2:55 PM

To be picked up in Pennfield you must call before 5:00 PM on previous day. For Saturday and Sunday you must call before 5:00 PM on Friday.
